Obituary for Donald Dale Southwell
Donald Dale Southwell, 62, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away after a hard battle with lung cancer on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. He was born on October 12, 1957, the son of Donald Dale Southwell Sr. and Shirley Ann (Mahrle) Baker.
Dale is survived by his Mother, Shirley Baker, Children, Jeffery (Kodi) Southwell, Gary Isham, Sarah Foster; 6 Grandchildren; Four Sisters and Longtime Friend, Karen Isham. He was preceded in death by his Father, Donald Dale Southwell, Sr.
Dale retired from the Laborers' Union Local #355. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, doing yard work, remodeling homes, helping people and providing opportunities for all to succeed. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. One of his most proudest accomplishments in life was his strength to overcome being an alcoholic.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 11 - 3pm at the Robins Nest, 16181 10 Mile Road, Battle Creek, MI 49014.
