Donna Renee Harris was born November 26, 1962, in Pontiac, Michigan to Earnest Virgil and Phillis Brown. Donna grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan, where she attended Battle Creek Central High School; where she excelled in Cosmetology, graduating class of 1981. She was employed as a Process Leader at Kellogg's until her retirement in 2014 after 17 years.

Donna enjoyed quality time with family and friends, camping with her grandchildren and relaxing with her sisters. She also loved her TV shows and movies, dancing, shopping and singing. She left this earth to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Donna was an amazing wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be remembered for her hard work and her endless love and affection she showed us all. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Donna is survived by her mother, Phillis Brown and father, Earnest Virgil Sr (Deceased); husband, Barry Harris; her two children, Sharrie Harris and Antoine Harris; her brothers, Earnest Virgil Jr, Glenn Virgil (Vanessa); her sisters, Debra Settle (Garland Settle Sr), Robben Thomas (Darryll Thomas), Felicia Virgil; 3 brothers-in-law, Tracy Harris (Arletha), Patrick Harris, Gill Harris; 1 sister-in-law, Debra Ravisee; 2 grandchildren, Shaniya Renee Jones-Harris and Dapereece McDonald, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In accordance with Donna's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 22, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Baxter Funeral & Cremation, 375 W. Dickman Rd. Battle Creek.
