Obituary

Dorothy W. “Wild” Mullins aged 92 of Battle Creek passed away October 3, 2020 at Evergreen Nursing Home with her granddaughter Stacey Smith by her side.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy Mullins; infant son, Richard Mullins; son, Gerald Mullins; daughter Dorothy R. Boyd; sister, MaDonna Coon; brothers Clarence and Burt Smith, and a special friend, Lyle Smith.

Dorothy is survived by her granddaughter, Stacey (Jeffery) Smith of Battle Creek and seven other grand children, Rick Boyd Jr. of Chester, VA; Raymond Boyd of Lakeview, MI; Richard Mullins California, Jennifer (Johnathan) Wilson of Howard City, MI; Kevin Mullins of Grand Rapids, MI; Kelly Mullins of Grand Rapids, MI; and Kurt Mullins of Howard City, MI; two great grandchildren, Allyssa-Desire' (Trevor) Brinker of Big Rapids, MI; and Jakie Smith of Aurora, CO and several other great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, Lexi Brinker and Felix Haberman; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Dorothy enjoyed going to the casino with her nephew Darrell Smith and winning at Bingo and giving away her winnings to her great-great granddaughter, Lexi. She loved shopping, chatting with friends and family, watching the Game Show Network and NASCAR on TV, and checking in on her loved ones.
The family would like to thank Evergreen for the compassion and care during her last months.
In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will have a private memorial dinner on Saturday the 10th at her favorite restaurant.
