Dorothy Elizabeth Tennyson, born April 9, 1924, entered heaven on April 1, 2021, at the age of 96 while living with her Daughter, Sue and Son-In-Law, JP.
Dorothy or Dotty to many, will be remembered by her Daughter, Susan Jean Marr (JP); Two Grandchildren, Sarah (Chris) Hill, and Andrew (Katrina) Marr Five Great-Grandchildren; Khyien, Roman, Londyn, Cole and Jameson. Dorothy will also be remembered and missed by her remaining Sisters, Mary Lois Knapp, Sally Bennett and their families. Dorothy was preceded in death by her Parents; Henry & Sarah Wightman, Brothers, Dale & John and Sister, Nancy.
Dorothy was born in Ellsworth, PA and moved to work at the Social Security Administration at the age of 18 where she met the love of her life, John. She had many jobs during her life but most importantly was a home maker. Dorothy loved crosswords, potato chips, cards with her friends, being Treasurer for the Methodist woman's group for many years, and a very dedicated friend to many.
Dorothy Elizabeth will be buried at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan, where her love awaits her.
