E.K. Vaughn passed away on August 25, 2011 at the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence in Battle Creek. He was born April 29, 1928 in Detroit, MI.
Ed moved his family to Battle Creek in 1968 and was the General Manager of the Calhoun County Title and Abstract Co. which later became the Title Office.
Ed was a member of the Battle Creek Lions Host Club, the Battle Creek Board of Realtors, the Battle Creek Builders Assoc. and a member of First Assembly of God since 1968.
Ed is survived by Daughter: Cheryl (James) Baker of Northville, MI; Sons: Gary (Cindy) Vaughn of Battle Creek and Gregory (Kim) Vaughn of Battle Creek; 5 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife of 58 years: Eleanor in 2005 and his Granddaughter: Kimberly (Baker) Schrandt in 2009.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Rd, on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 2 PM to 5 PM.
A funeral service will be held at First Assembly of God, 800 S. 24th Street on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
