Obituary for Eleanor Edmonds

Eleanor Edmonds, 81, of Ceresco, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021. She was born on February 7, 1940, the daughter of Frederick Johnson and Myrtle (Deplanche) Johnson. Eleanor married Johnny Edmonds on August 20, 1962. She worked for Post Cereal and retired after 30 years of service.

Eleanor is survived by her son, Bob (Jody) Edmonds of Burlington, Michigan; brother, Calvin Johnson; daughter-in-law, Naomi Edmonds; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Johnny Edmonds; parents; son, John Paul Edmonds who passed away recently; daughter, Tina Marie Mosley in 2012; sister, Luetta Farmer; brother, George Johnson, and granddaughter Jamie Lee Hughes in 2014.

Eleanor loved to go to the Shipshewana flea market and auction. She also enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was an active member of the Newton Township Church, the Eagles, American Legion, and Polish National Alliance.

Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Friday May 7, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Saturday, May 8, 2021, 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
