Obituary for Ellen Christina Miller (Reams)
Ellen Christina Miller, 85, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Best Care Plus Living Center in Marshall, MI. She was born on June 9, 1937, the daughter of Merton L. and Dorothy Elizabeth (Van Wagner) Reams.
Ellen was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Tabernacle in Battle Creek, MI. She attended and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1955. Ellen worked at State Farm Insurance and Ralston Purina and later in life at Apple Valley Foods and OMNI Community Credit Union. She married the love of her life, Tony Miller in December of 1955, he preceded her in death in 2000. Ellen was an avid walker that could out step anyone. She was an excellent baker and cook and always made sure others were taken care of before herself, this was reflected through her church involvement and family.
Ellen is survived by her children, Mandy (Tony) Randall, Michelle (Ron) O'Dell, Sean Miller; four grandchildren, Parker (Jessica) Cruz, Chandler Cruz, Shane Randall and Shelby Randall. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony Miller; and brother, Martin Reams.
A graveside service will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 12:00 pm (noon).
