Obituary for Eugene "Gene" D. Case Jr.
Eugene D. Case Jr., 58, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020. He was born on April 14, 1962, the son of Eugene Delos Case and Marilyn (Coleman) Yoder. He served his country in the US Marine Corps. Gene worked at Denso for over 25 years. Gene enjoyed playing golf, gambling and spending time with family. He was always ready to cheer on the Detroit Lions.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Rugg) Case; son, Logan Case; stepmother, Yvonne Case; sister, Autumn Stout-Fletcher; four nieces, Christina (Casey) Cadieux, Lisa Scroggins, Dayze Fletcher and Myah Case; nephew, Ronald (Sarah) Fletcher; five great-nieces; four great-nephews and Father-in-law, Thomas (Ruth) Rugg. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carolann Case and mother-in-law, Linda Rugg.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Tuesday October 6, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A private family graveside service will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
