Flower Hamilton, the second daughter of John & Florence Holgate was born July 8th, 1921 in Pawtucket, RI. She was educated in Pawtucket Public Schools, graduating in 1939, and later graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI in 1967.
Flower was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wallace Hamilton and sister Francis Mitchell. She and Wallace were married after High School Graduation. They performed and taught the art of dancing at studios across the United Sates. In later years they taught exclusively at studios in Battle Creek, Portage and Kalamazoo.
Flower is survived by cousin Dorothy (McKenna) Perryman of Leesburg, FL and caregiver and friend for many years, Linda Lang of Battle Creek.
She will be best remembered by the many members of the Battle Creek area for her teaching of the art of dance.
