Obituary for Frank Tatum

Frank Tatum Sr., 69, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 30, 2015 at home. He was born on August 13, 1945, the son of Leland Frank Tatum and Molly Louis Holmes.
Frank played the saxophone for Motown in the late 60's and early 70's. He then got drafted in the Army where he served for three years.
Frank is survived by his Three Daughters, Lastarr Angela Tatum of Battle Creek, MI, Tamara Jones, Dorothy Williams; Three Sons, Frank Tatum, II, Terell Haddey, Leroy (Keena) Warton; Eight Sisters, Mary Andrews, Beverly Scott, Pricilla Johnson, Bernice Tatum, Curly Tatum, Catherine Pigram, Sandra Holmes-Williams, Cynthia Fay Tatum; Six Brothers, Alvin Holmes, Tony Holmes, Willie Holmes, James Tatum, Fredrick Tatum, Leland Frank Tatum. He was preceded in death by his Father, Leland Frank Tatum, Mother, Molly Louis Holmes.
Frank loved music and it was a huge part of his life. He enjoyed church. He loved to be around people and had a sheer enjoyment for life. He doted on his family and would do anything for them. He loved more than anything spending time with his family and friends. Frank loved animals and caring for them. He enjoyed going for long walks. He was a passionate about cooking and singing.
A memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on , , with of officiating.
Interment will take place in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
