Gail L. Brewer, 88, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019. She was born on March 7, 1931, the daughter of the late Clarence E. Havenga and Hazel Havenga. She enjoyed being an Avon representative for 35 years. Gail loved spending time with her family, gardening, and doing jigsaw puzzles. She was an accomplished pianist and organist. Gail was generous with her time and enjoyed helping people.

Gail is survived by her four daughters, Ruth Walker, Lois Walton, Linda (Eddie) Johnson, and Julie (Todd) Edgerton; grandchildren; Daniel Walker, Michael Johnson, Dennis Walker, Nikki Wright, Mandy Simmons, Kelly Smith, Dwayne Walker, Karen Monday, Michael Edgerton, Justin Walton and 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Daniel Brewer, and sister, Phyllis Scott.

The funeral service will be held at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service; on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gail's name may be made to: Jehovah's Witness at www.jw.org
