Gary Carl Roberts, 59, of Battle Creek, MI died at home on November 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Grady and Roberta (Hays) Roberts.
Gary was in the Air Force for 4 years and then joined the National Guard as a Romad. He was very proud of his military service.
For the last 35 years, Gary worked at Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center in Battle Creek, MI.
He enjoyed playing rugby and hockey and especially liked coaching hockey.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Marcia Roberts, Son, Daniel Roberts, Daughter, Patty Roberts, grandchildren, Vivian and Finian Roberts, Mother, Roberta Roberts, Brother, Rick (Laura) Roberts, Nieces, Natalie, Caroline and Abigail, Mother and Father-In-Law, Cindy (David) Bays, Sister-In-Law, Kathy (Darrell) Wieas, Brother-In-Law, Ken (Diane) Harrison and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family members.
He was proceeded in death by his Father, Grady Roberts and Father-In-Law, Ross Harrison.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, with the Funeral service immediately following starting at 3:00 with Pastor Richard Roberts officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Charities of One's Choice in memory of Gary.
