Obituary for Gary T. Wilson
Gary Thomas Wilson, 73, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. He was born on June 7, 1947, the son of Robert Lee Wilson and Rosalie Marie Wilson.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a combat wounded veteran of Vietnam. Gary graduated from Harper Creek and earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. He was an avid hunter and loved to spend time outdoors.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Tera (Paul) Lopp; two sons, Jason (Heather) Wilson and Matthew Wilson; fiancée, Diane L. Hewitt and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
In accordance with Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. He will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements entrusted to Baxter Funeral & Cremation. www.baxterfuneral.com
