When Mark and Steve Woolley were doing some fairly extensive renovations to my son's house where I live with him, a friend asked me who was doing the biulding.  When I told her, she said, "Why I bet I know them. Their father, Gene, built my horse barn thirty years ago when I lived in Mattawan, and his sons were part of his crew--and let me tell you, you have the best."  Then after extolling Gene Woolley's excellence as a builder, she went on to say, "He was not just a good builder; he was a good man."

That is a fine legacy to leave to his family.
