Obituary for George Herbert Roche Jr.
George Herbert Roche, Jr., an avid hunter and fisherman, died unexpectedly on August 27, 2020 at the age of 67. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on June 13, 1953 to Audrey Thompson and George Roche, Sr. He was a hard working man at Grand Trunk Railroad, Eaton Corporation and American Axle. George married Robbie Lorena Tate on December 27, 2013, who was his best friend.
George is survived by his wife, Robbie Lorena Roche; children, Michael Roche, Ondrea Roche, and Ashley Roche; sisters, Penny Elegert, Linda Fink, Sandy Roche, Karen Franklin and Jill Copeland.
George was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family very dearly. He enjoyed spending time deer hunting and fishing and was intrigued by astronomy. George loved his cats, Blacky and Maddie. He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, his family and all who knew him.
In accordance with George’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family memorial will take place at a later date.
