Obituary for Glenn Albert Nunnally

Glenn Albert Nunnally, 92, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at home surrounded by family. He fought a valiant fight against prostate cancer for over two years and previously fought it at age 65. He was born on February 23, 1929, the son of the late James and Willie Nunnally. He was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School Class of 1947.

Glenn was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was baptized February 9th, 1957. His love for his God Jehovah was strong all the way to his final breath. Despite the poor condition he was in and not really being able to speak what he wanted he still tried to pray with his wife Nancy and son Brian near the end. Over the years he gained many invaluable friendships with many people. He spent 46 years working at Kellogg company. He started working as a janitor at a young age and ended his last years being a painter. Glenn was very artistic and painted Snap, Crackle, and Pop at the Kellogg plant.

Glenn loved to build things. He would build things even when nothing needed to be built. He built his late mom’s house from the ground up. He performed many upgrades to the house that he and his wife Nancy resides in. He loved to do things outdoors around the yard and loved getting on his John Deere tractor to do yard work. He was a diligent reader and studier of the bible and taught the truths about the bible to people for many years.
His quiet, loving demeanor will be missed by so many friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy Nunnally and his son Brian (Jennifer) Nunnally whom he loved dearly. Glenn also had six step-children whom he loved as his own: Ron (Tracy) Weber, John (Kim) Weber, Trisha (Garry) Peterson, Pam (Bob) Smith, Joni Brown (Larry), and Christine Weber. He is also survived by a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will be a small private ceremony for family only at a later date.
