Obituary for Harold Moore

Harold Kenneth Moore, 89, of North Redington Beach, Florida, passed away on November 8, 2020. He was born on January 12, 1931, the son of Bronnie and Virgie (Stogner) Moore.
Harold graduated from Pontiac High School. After high school he went on to further his education by attending Wayne State University. Harold honorably served in the United States Army, he was stationed in Japan during the Korean War. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church while living in Battle Creek and after moving to Florida became a member of First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks located in Largo.
Harold is survived by his Wife, Judith Ann (Mullett) Moore; Son, Brian T. (Orla Curran) Moore; Two Daughters, Susan Meisser-Moore, Nancy Ann Moore; Two Step-Daughters, Michelle (Steve) Anzivino, Cherie Hollis; Step-Son, Jason (Tara) Byrd; Granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Meisser; Seven Step-Grandchildren, Zachary (Jamie) Anzivino, Gabriel Anzivino, Nicholas Anzivino, Braden Goodrich, Emily (Jordan) Betten, Jackson Byrd, Calvin Byrd; Brother, Jerry Moore; Sister, Brenda Dura. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sister and Former Spouse, Marie Moore.
Harold enjoyed playing pool with several different teams and friends at Burnham Brook in Battle Creek and The Tides Beach Club in N. Redington Beach. He served as the President of the Battle Creek Association of Home Builders and won Builder of the Year in 1990. One of his finest achievements was building a home for the President of the Kellogg Company in Battle Creek, MI. One of his most cherished things to do was travel to Switzerland to see and spend time with his granddaughter, Jennifer. He enjoyed listening to jazz music, BBN radio, watching the Detroit Tigers play baseball and sitting in his easy chair next to the window overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
A memorial service to honor the life of Harold will be held later in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
