Harry Colen Jr. won his freedom from the constraints of this life on Friday, September 9th, 2022.
On September 14th, 1949, Harry Colen Jr. was born to Harry and Mamie Colen in Battle Creek, MI. He attended Battle Creek Public Schools and worked for the Michigan Department of Transportation as a Road Commission employee. Harry loved spending time with his family and listening to music.
Harry is survived by his children Kelli Neals (Battle Creek, MI) James (Nicole) Neals (Lawrenceville, GA) and Lesley Neals (Lawrenceville, GA). Grandchildren: Erica Neals (Battle Creek, MI) Erin Neals (Battle Creek, MI) and Justin Flowers (Lawrenceville, GA). Brothers: AC Snyder (Battle Creek, MI), George Snyder (Port Huron, MI) Kenneth Colen, Charles Colen and Jim Colen all of Battle Creek, MI. Sister: Joyce Washington (Battle Creek, MI). Special niece: Tonya Mandoka (Grand Rapids, MI) and special great niece Terricka Gorum (Battle Creek, MI) and a host of other nieces and nephews. Special friends: Terry Watley and Susie Fields.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Mamie Colen. His son Dana Neals, brothers Dennis Colen, Mack Snyder, Roland Snyder, Harvest Colen, Ollen Snyder and his sister Gladis Williams.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Thursday September 15, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
