Obituary for Harry Cecil Honeycutt

Harry Honeycutt, 77, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2020. Heaven’s Gate opened and the angels welcomed him to his eternal home.
He was born in Marvel, Alabama on February 23, 1943. He was the third of four children born to Jack and Linnie Honeycutt.
In 1952, his family moved to Detroit and in 1955 moved to Oil City, Michigan, where his dad was a pastor at the Oil City Assembly of God Church.
Harry married his childhood sweetheart, Bonnie Jean Cottrell in 1964. Harry worked at Sullivan’s Dairy, loading milk trucks for a few years before he got hired into Kellogg in 1966. He retired in 1996 at the age of 53. He was a member of the 25 Year Club.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Jack and Mother Linnie; Brother, Billy (Margie) and Sister, Shirley Faye Moreno (Ray).
He is survived by his Wife of 56 years, Bonnie; Three Daughters, Kelley (Paul), Lori (Pete), and Tracey (Jerrid), 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, and Brother, Terry (Jan).
Harry enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling to Florida for the winter. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. His jokes always made them laugh.
Arrangements for cremation are being made by Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service.
No services are planned at this time, a private memorial service will be held for immediate family members.
