Hazel (Ormsbee) Funk, 82, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away, Friday, February 4, 2011 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence after a long fight with Alzheimer’s. She was born May 11, 1928, in Bellevue, MI, the daughter of Frances & Maudie Ormsbee.
She was employed by Kellogg Co. for 29 years and was a member of the 25 year club. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and hunting.
Hazel is survived by two Sons: Dave & Steve Funk of Battle Creek; 4 Grandchildren: Brad, Matt, Don & Nicole and 6 Great Grandchildren.
At the request of the family, visitation will be at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 after 2 PM where the family will be present 6 PM to 8 PM. A private family service is planned.
