Obituary for Helen Kenney

Helen  Kenney
Helen Kenney, 82, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence surrounded by her family. She was born on August 7, 1934, the daughter of Albert W. Harper and Helen T. (Bailey) Harper.
Helen graduated from Dobbins High in 1953.She was affiliated with Orsino Baptist Church in Florida.She was also active in Island Lakes Community.
Helen is survived by her Three Sons, Craig Edward Kenney, John Curtis (Purivi) Kenney of Battle Creek, MI, Ronald Allen (Denise) Kenney of Climax, MI; Daughter, Denise Louise (Raymond) DiFilippo; Brother, Albert Harper; Sister, Patricia Kapillas. She was preceded in death by her Father, Albert W. Harper, Mother, Helen T. Harper, Husband, John Joel Kenney, Jr., Son, Gary Brian Kenney.
Helen surrounded herself with her Christian faith.She loved attending church and receiving Gods word. Her and her late husband, John loved traveling around the world on cruise ships. She enjoyed watching the news, and listening to the radio. Helen also had a love for working for the Island Lakes Community activities. Her world was centered around her family however. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with them and watching them grow.
Per the families request, services will be held at a later date.
