Obituary for Jack Leo Curtis

Jack "Bumper" Leo Curtis, 59, of Springfield, Michigan, Promoted to Glory on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Bronson Battle Creek. He was born on February 24, 1963, the son of John Samuel Curtis and Frances Alice (VanDenberg) Curtis.
Bumper was a 1981 graduate of Charlotte High School. He served in the US Army 1985-1988. He was employed with Drum Heating & Cooling until being disabled in an accident. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Battle Creek.
Bumper is survived by his Mother; Wife of 28 years, Britt-Marie (Hellstrom) Curtis; Sons, Jonathan (Jenny) Curtis and Jeoffrey (Kay) Curtis; Grandchildrens, Aydyn Curtis, Brian Curtis and Jenna Curtis; Brother, John (Patty) Curtis Jr; Sister-In-Law, Debbie Curtis; Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends. He was preceded in death by his Father; Brothers, James Curtis and Jerald Curtis.
Bumper enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, sport car racing, particularly in Galesburg, collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia and was an avid Washington Redskins fan.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Salvation Army Church, 400 Captial Avenue NE, on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 4:00 pm.
