Obituary for James Allen Dillard
James A. Dillard, 55 went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on June 27th, 2019 at Heartland Nursing Home in Battle Creek MI.
He was born February 4th, 1964 to Roger Dillard and Minnie A.Moon
Jimmy attended Battle Creek Public Schools graduating from Battle Creek Central High School in 1982. While attending BCC he played Tennis winning numerous awards.
He attended KCC after graduation and worked for State Farm before entering into Army and being stationed at Fort Sam Houston.
He later entered into Air force and was stationed in Hawaii.
Jimmy loved spending time with his family and friends especially his Mom and his girlfriend Dawn.
He is survived by his Mother Minnie Moon, brother, Robert Dillard, a son, Jordan Russell, girlfriend of 15yrs Dawn Erskine, step daughter Danielle Erskine, grandchildren Caleb, Kylie, Kamryn, Kayleb, Kaedyn, and Kasidy.
And a host of Aunts, an Uncle and cousins.
He was proceeded in death by His Maternal Grandparents, Paternal Grandparents, Father Roger Dillard, Step Father Mark Moon, brother Timmy Dillard, daughter Brittany Dillard.
A memorial Service will be held on July 13th, 2019 @ 3:00pm at Andrus St Church of God, 765 Andrus St. Battle Creek MI with a dinner immediately following in Church dining hall.
Memorial donations can be made out to Hope and Help Closet.
