Obituary for James Michael "Mike" Higgins
James Michael “Mike” Higgins (64) of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Wednesday June 26th surrounded by family at Bronson Battle Creek.
Mike was born on January 31, 1955 in Japan and moved to America with his adopted parents Paul and Dorothy Higgins in 1957.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his family playing card games or watching movies and spoiling his grandchildren rotten.
Mike is survived by his sons Ian Higgins of Auburn, Indiana; Zachary (Stephanie) Higgins and Travis Higgins both of Battle Creek, Michigan; Alex Higgins; Timothy Butler and James Butler both of Battle Creek MI; three grandchildren Shiloh Higgins, Jaxton Higgins, and Greyson Higgins; and a brother Ken Higgins.
A Celebration of Life with friends and family will be planned at a later date.
