Jane Gladys Zaborski, 92, passed away on, Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek. She was born May 20, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Edward and Mary Margaret (Soder) Zaborski.
She is survived by children Betsy (Dave) Lynch of PA, Stephen (Rosemary) Zaborski of Battle Creek, Dave (Michelle) Zaborski of NC, Bryan (Linda) Zaborski of OH, Paul (Lisa) Zaborski of Battle Creek, and Chris (Jeremy) Evans of ID; sisters Betty Robinson of HI and Dorothy Samoni of PA; seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Joseph Zaborski in 2003 after 58 years of marriage, son Richard (Rick) Zaborski, Jr. in 2017, and four sisters.
Jane was a homemaker and enjoyed her role as a stay at home mom. She liked to sing, sew, watch football, create ceramics and enjoyed cruising. Also, she loved being a friend to all people, especially to those at NorthPointe Woods where she had lived for nine years. She was a member of the Newton United Methodist Church.
A graveside Service will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 11:30 am.
