Janet “Pat” Clapper born April 2, 1935 in Alpena, MI the daughter of Louis & Louise (Marchlewski) Idalski, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 after a long illness. She was married to Oscar Glenz which ended in divorce. Janet loved making quilts, sewing and baking. She was known for her delicious fudge and cream puffs. She also spent time playing cards and going to the casino.

She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Glenz-Gross. Janet was preceded in death by her son in law Barry Gross; siblings, Viola, Elenore, Irene, Margaret, Daniel, Audrey, and Gerald

Family will receive friends on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at 11:00AM with a celebration of life service following at 4:30PM with Father Mathew officiating at the Baxter Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer’s Disease Association, Battle Creek Humane Society, Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice, Battle Creek, and St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, Battle Creek.
