Janet Lynn (Ankney) Winans, 60, of Battle Creek, MI, died, Wednesday, March 28, 2012. She was born September 28, 1951 the daughter of the late Bud Ankney and Carolyn (Hamilton) Ankney.
Janet was a 1971 graduate of Lakeview High School. She was a home health care specialist all over Battle Creek for many years.
Janet is survived by Daughter: Heather (Dwayne) Mott; Son: Michael (Mindy) Mapes; Grandchildren: Andrew, Vaughn and Jordyn.Sister: Diann Ankney.
Janet enjoyed crocheting, reading and her two cats "Charlie" & "Ralston".
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial tributes may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.
