Obituary for Jay Duane Schwartz
Jay Duane Schwartz, 73, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019. He was born on July 30, 1945, the son of John William Schwartz and Mary Elizabeth (Manwarren) Schwartz. Jay worked as an auto mechanic and tow truck driver.
He is survived by his two sisters, Etta (Michael) Zuck and Joan (Charles) Young; two brothers, Douglas (Kim) Schwartz and John D. (Annette) Schwartz and his best friend, Reyes Garcia. He was preceded in death by his father, John William Schwartz; mother, Mary Elizabeth Schwartz; brothers, David Schwartz and Ronald Schwartz; sisters, Alice Schwartz and Janet Johnson.
In accordance with Jay's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service.
