Jenelle Melissa Henry, 88, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at MediLodge of Marshall. She was born on October 1, 1928, the daughter of Sylvester Penny and Fannie (Collins) Penny.
Jenelle was a lifelong member of the Upton Avenue Original Church of God.
Jenelle is survived by her Three Sons, Tommy Vince (Julie) Henry of Battle Creek, MI, Tyler Stephen Henry of Battle Creek, MI and Teddy Lewayne Henry of Battle Creek, MI; Two Sisters, Ruth Ann Small and Margaret (Melvin) Anderson; Granddaughter, Theresa Henry; Three Grandsons, Michael Henry, Teddy Henry, II and Joe Griseston; and a host of grandchildren and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her Father, Sylvester Penny, Mother, Fannie Penny and Daughter, Kathy Henry.
Jenelle loved to play BINGO. She enjoyed working and taking care of her family. She liked cooking for her family as well. Jenelle loved investing her time in her grandchildren. They were her whole world and she would do anything for them in a heartbeat.
