John Thomas “Bubba” Bates passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. He was born January 1, 1964 to Thomas and Linda (Lake) Bates. Bubba loved playing bingo and being with his family.
He is survived by his parents, brother, Jerry (Kitty) Bates; sister, Penny (Bates) Lemish; half-sister, Heather of Dayton, TN; aunts, uncles, several nieces and nephews; and special friend Judy Abels.
Family will receive friends at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 4-6PM and Monday, March 19, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8PM. Funeral services will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 1:00PM. Interment and balloon release will follow at Hicks Cemetery.
