Obituary for John Franklin Tennyson

John Franklin Tennyson, born April 30, 1929, passed away June 2, 2020, at the age of 91 at Reflection Memory Care, Battle Creek MI.
Frank, as his family knows him will be remembered by his loving wife of many years, Dorothy Tennyson: their daughter; Susan Jean Marr (JP): two grandchildren, Sarah (Chris) Hill, and Andrew (Katrina) Marr; and four great-grandchildren; Khyien, Roman, Londyn, and Cole. Frank will also be remembered and missed by his remaining brother and sisters; Richard C. Tennyson, Carole M. VanVranken, and Janet N. Janyska, and their families.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; Edgar and Marie (Robbins) Tennyson; his brothers; Edgar R Tennyson Jr.; Lawrence W. Tennyson.
Frank was honorably discharged from the United States Army Signal Corps as a photographer. After coming home, Frank had a full career at the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, Maryland as a print specialist for 47 years before retiring. Frank loved planes and flying. He had many great years of aeromodelling with his brothers and could always be caught looking at planes as they passed over. Frank loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends and just being together.
Mr. John Franklin Tennyson will be buried with honors on Friday, June 5, at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
