Johnnie “Mac” Brown, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on May 6, 2022. He was born May 15, 1943 in Hatchechubee, Alabama to the late Louis and Mary L. (Robinson) Brown.

Johnnie graduated from Battle Creek Central High school and soon after joined the United States Army where he served our country until he was honorably discharged. After returning home he married his late wife Patricia Rose (Sims) Brown in 1969. He then began working for Kellogg Company until his retirement.

Johnnie enjoyed the horse races. He traveled to see the Kentucky derby yearly. He also loved spending time In his garage listening to the radio.

To cherish his memories he leaves his children; David (Stephanie) Brown, Harold “Wayne” Scott, and Devon Brown; nephew; Ebbin (Patricia) Brown and a host of grandchildren, great nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Patricia, parents; Louis and Mary, and sister; Willie Mae Lee.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place and no services are being held at this time.
