Obituary for Joshua Curran

Joshua Curran passed away November 30, 2022. Joshua was born October 24, 1984, and raised in Battle Creek, MI where he attended Pennfield Schools. After high school Joshua attended KCC and KVCC and later went on to join the United States Army, Indirect Fire Infantry, being stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
While in the Army he made lifelong friends and received many awards including the Army Achievement Medal (3 awards), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and others. Joshua worked at Target Distribution Center as a Team Leader.
Joshua was full of life and loved always making people laugh. He was very creative and enjoyed producing music, designing tattoos, and drawing. In his free time, he liked working out, attending concerts, golfing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Dawn Thomas and Michael (Meghan) Curran, sister Nicole Voss and niece Leah Voss. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Duane and Marsha Taylor and Michael Curran and his aunt Linda Chapman.
A celebration of life is scheduled for December 12, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Baxter’s Funeral Home & Cremation Care with burial at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
