Obituary for Judy Ann Ward (Cantine)
Judy Ann (Cantine) Ward, 74, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born on July 17, 1946 the daughter of Jack and Constance (Meade) Cantine. She married Kirk Ward on November 21, 1964, they were married for 52 years.
Judy is survived by her Daughter, Lori (Brent) Eakins; Granddaughters, Brittney (Israel) Stanley, Chloe (Chris) Jones; Great-Grandson, Ezra Isaac Stanley; Brother, Tom (Lynette) Thompson; nieces, nephews, cousins and all others who she took care of like they were her own. She was preceded in death by Parents; Step-Father, Robert Thompson and Husband, Kirk Ward.
Judy was a stay-at-home-mom for many years and babysat many kids for most of those years, she was a waitress and a lunch lady at La Mora Park Elementary. She attended Family Altar Chapel, enjoyed spending time with her friends of "Club 64" which is a group of ladies she graduated with from Lakeview High School in 1964. She was also a member of The Misfits Car Club and loved going to the many car shows.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held at the Family Altar Chapel on Friday, March 19, 2021, visitation starting at 10:00 am, memorial service starting at 11:00 with Pastor Travis Davis officiating.
Interment will take place at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
