Julia Elizabeth Belk, 66, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at home. She was born on February 13, 1951, the daughter of William Dougle Campbell and Virginia Elizabeth (Whaley) Campbell.
Julia graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. After school she attended Wrights Beauty Academy and earned her degree in cosmetology. She worked as at her brothers bar doing a little bit of everything before pursuing her career as a cosmetologist.
Julia is survived by her Daughter, Amber (Anthony) Hunter; Son, John Green; two grandchildren, Phillip "Bubba" Green, and Maddison Hunter; two brothers, William Campbell, and David (Carol) Campbell; Sister, Sherry (Don) Taylor; her fur baby and fur grand babies, as well as a host of friends and other loving family She was preceded in death by her parents.
She loved to listen to her kids and grandkids sing to her. She also enjoyed fishing and watching her television shows. She was a huge The Walking Dead fan and was part of a group that will miss her dearly. Her memories will be cherished by all the lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held at the New Hope Apostolic Church, 6922 E Dr N, on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 5:00 pm.
