Julie Ann Hughes, 57, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at her residence. She was born on December 7, 1963, the daughter of Ralph Dwayne and Wilma Lee (Dolph) Hughes.

Julie graduated from Springfield High School with the Class of 1981. She previously worked at Dairy Queen, County Seat and Meijer. She was currently employed at Denso Manufacturing in Battle Creek, MI.

Julie is survived by her Mother, Wilma Hughes; Special Fella, Henry Williams; Uncle, Dale (Kathy) Dolph; Cousins, Bruce (Sue) Dolph, Sam, Chrissy (Chris) Daugin, Bucko, Blake and Brooke. She was preceded in death by her Father, Ralph Dwayne Hughes and Brother, Robert Lee Hughes.

Julie loved traveling to the UP, especially to Escanaba. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding 4-Wheelers, tying flies, going to see her family and friends out in the country, playing with her dog, supporting the Green Bay Packers and baking goods to donate to those in need. She was very family oriented and made sure to keep in touch with everyone. She will truly be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) with the funeral service immediately following starting at 12:00 pm with Pastor Jim Sparks officiating.

Interment will take place in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
