Karl Douglas Reed, age 58, was born in Battle Creek, Michigan passed away July 1, 2021, He was born March 17, 1963, to the loving late parents, Mary Ann House and Ben Douglas Reed. Carl attended Battle Creek Central High School. He loved playing basketball, playing poker and his passion was making beaded jewelry. He loved family gatherings and made sure he attended them, no matter what. Karl was never afraid to express how he felt and did not mind telling it how it was! Or at least how he saw it! And boy could he put away some food! His laughter and warming personality will be greatly missed.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his surviving siblings, Edward Green, Rocky and Carolyn House, as well as a host of nieces nephews and family members. He is preceded in death by his, parents Ben and Mary Ann & Oreatha Reed; brothers, Timothy, Wayne, Ben Jr., Bennie, Clyde, Ronnie, and sister Charlotte Reed.

In accordance with Karl's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
