Obituary for Kathleen Ann Prus (McGill)
Prus, Kathleen A. Age 77, of Jackson, peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021 at the Glenn Arbor Hospice Home in Battle Creek. Born on September 23rd, 1943 in Jackson, Michigan to Keith and Helen McGill. Kathy attended Northwest Schools, graduating in 1961.
Kathy further educated herself, earning Bachelor and Master Degrees from Spring Arbor University. Kathy then proudly became a passionate elementary school educator for Jackson Public Schools.
Kathy enjoyed shopping, playing the piano and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.
She is survived by her sister, Connie Smith, four children: Richard (Joanie) Prus of Leslie, Gerald Prus of Jackson, Kimberly Downey of Grand Rapids and James (Emily) Prus of Pleasant Lake; three grandchildren Nicholas, Caleb and Cierra.
The family will be holding a celebration of life to be announced.
