Obituary for Kay F. Van Dorsten
Kay F. Van Dorsten, 78, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. She was born on January 3, 1942, the daughter of Urban White and Clementine (McGarry) White.
Kay is survived by her husband, Donald "John" Van Dorsten; three daughters, Candace (David) Pyle, Sharon Waterson and Melissa (Doug Knapp) Van Dorsten; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Julia (Ruben) Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Greg White.
She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling and spending time outdoors dune buggying and go cart racing. Kay loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Eagles and an avid Precious Moments collector.
The funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
