Obituary for Kelley Eileen Coy

Kelley Eileen Coy was born September 12, 1958 to Elston Pierce Jr. and Bonita June (Burd) Pierce.
Kelley graduated in Battle Creek, from Pennfield High School in 1976. She became a Certified Nurses Aide in 1996 and worked at the State Hospital for 15 years. Kelley worked hard at being a Home Health Aide caring for the elderly and sick. She would help anyone. There was never a mountain that was too high for Kelley.

Kelley loved animals and rescued many of them in her lifetime. She enjoyed many things like horseback riding, canoeing, camping and spending time with her loved ones.
She loved her family and friends dearly. Kelly was the glue that held her family together.

Kelley adored her dogs; Duke, Smudge, Mickey, and Sunshine. She was very patient and kind to them. She loved them all and spent a lot of time caring for them.
Kelly loved each and every one of her family members very much, but most important to her was her dog Sunshine (who misses her so much).

Kelley is survived by her mom, Bonita June Pierce; devoted brother; Kenneth Pierce; son, Travis Pierce; daughters, Natosha Coy and Brianna Pierce; 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

A Celebration of Kelly's life will be held at a later date and time. Please contact the family if you would like to attend. Thank you!

Kelley passed away peacefully at home in her daughter's arms. She passed on October 11, 2022 at 5:30pm after fighting cancer (Multiple Myeloma) for 14 long years. She was one of the strongest women some will ever meet. She even beat Covid19 while fighting cancer. She was one tough woman!
