Obituary for Lanella L. Slocum
Lanella Louise Slocum, 78, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. She was born on April 4, 1942, the daughter of Wayne Robert Slocum and Isadore (Echtinaw) Slocum. She worked at Wayne's Market and Murco Packing until her retirement.
Lanella is survived by her son, Steven S. Slocum; sister, Janice M. Ruger and brother, W. Robert (Nancy) Slocum II. She was preceded in death by her parents. She enjoyed sewing, camping, fishing, and doing cross-stitch. Most of all, Lanella loved spending time with her family.
In accordance with Lanella's wishes, cremation has taken place and a family memorial service will take place at a later date.
