Obituary for Lawrence Hayden Bridges

Larry Hayden Bridges (aka hog killer), 73, Passed away on May 31, 2019, after a long battle with COPD. Larry was born in Trigg County Kentucky, to Lawrence Bridges and Martha Adams on August 28th, 1945. He moved to Battle Creek in his early 20s and started his family. Larry, “The Hog Killer” was a member of the Battle Creek Local Union 355, for over 25 years in construction.
After Retirement he became a proud business owner of “On the Road Towing”. Larry was a stubborn family man who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed watching the Steelers play, riding his Harley, fishing and going to car shows. He also enjoyed, flee marketing, and hunting.
Larry married LoAnn Bridges at the St. Philip Catholic Church July 30, 1994. She precedes him in death. Also proceeding him are is father Lawrence Bridges, Mother Martha Adams, Brother John Bridges, Sister Marsha Dixon, son’s Buddy Hall and David Bridges, First wife Diane Bridges, and Great Grand Daughter Jazzlynn Bridges.
Larry is survived by his sons Eddie Bridges and Carl (Mary) Bridges, daughter Maria Bridges of Battle Creek MI, second wife Phyllis Bridges, as well as stepchildren Gina, Cheryl and Larry and also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cremation took place at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service. Memorial Donations may be made to a family discretionary fund. A small private family service will take place in Battle Creek MI.
