Obituary for Lee Artis Witcher

Lee Artist Witcher, 64, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Bronson Battle Creek. He was born on March 25, 1949, the son of Tim Witcher and Ruthie (West) Witcher.
Lee attended Battle Creek Public Schools and then served in the US Army during Vietnam where his platoon took Hamburger Hill in 1969.
Lee is survived by his Daughter: Crystal Lesley of Battle Creek, MI; Sisters: Alice (John) Reed of Battle Creek, MI and Selene Shuford of Battle Creek, MI; Brothers: Jerry R. Witcher of Battle Creek, MI and Joe Witcher of Magnolia, AK; Special Aunt: Mildred Lee Bozell of Battle Creek, MI; Grandchildren: Destiney & Heaven Lesley; Special Nephews: Charles Witcher, Deshawn Witcher, Milo Fitzpatrick and Ke'Zell Edwards; Special Niece: Elana Mobley; and a host of nieces, nephew cousins, and friends. Special Cousin: Kenneth Colen. Special friend Carl (Debra) Richardson and Lorenzo and Curtis Banks. He was preceded in death by his Parents; his Brother: Lavern Witcher; Sister: Evern Witcher; Sister: JoAnn Fitzpatrick.
Lee was an avid sports fan, especially football, basketball,boxing and watching western movies. He enjoyed taking walks and loved spending time with his family.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1 pm with Rev. Richard Bailey officiating.
