Lillian Helen Asher, 80, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. She was born on August 30, 1941, the daughter of John William Wellington and Arletta Rose (Leslie) Wellington.
Lillian attended Pennfield Schools and was an Avon Rep for many years.
Lillian is survived by her Daughters, Sheri (Earnest) Arredondo, Penny (Steve) Young, Bonnie (Robert) Burd and Connie (Terry) Soule; Son, Gary Asher; Grandchildren, William "Billy" (Laine) Courtright, Shannon (Mike) Wedl, Adrianne Arredondo, Brea Arredondo, Lyndsey (Brett) Bartell, Juan (Christy) Ramos II, Jessica Ramos, Trisha (Stanley) Wilson, Stephen Young II, Stephanie (Antonio) Plair, Stephen Asher, Lauren Asher, Angelica Burd and Ceirra Burd; 26 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Marion (Gene) Cox and Joan (Bill) Lancaster; and Brothers, Ed Wellington and Alan Wellington.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband of 59 years, Allen Steve Asher; Brothers, Darwin Wellington, John Wellington and William Wellington; Sisters, Lois Asher, Mary Lou Davis, Dorothy Rogers and Shirley Cox.
Lillian enjoyed playing cards, camping, and selling Avon. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her and her husband did prison ministry, ministered at the Haven of Rest, was a member of the Harvester Band and held services for people with disabilities. She was a member of Heath Street Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Wednesday August 17, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 12:30 pm.
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
