Obituary for Lillie B. Richardson

Lilly (Lillie) B. Richardson, a woman of phenomenal STRENGTH and LOVE, was born on February 23, 1948, in Battle Creek, MI. Lillie passed away in her home on Friday, March 19, 2021. She was one of several children born to the late Burley & Ammie B. (Collins) Smith. Lillie was preceded in death by her siblings, Peter, Sherrie A. and Richard C. Lillie was a member of the Maranatha Original Church of God for several years. She truly believed in the Lord and was not ashamed to share her love for Christ with others. She retired from General Motors in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she worked as a press operator and was head of the recycling committee for over 10+ years. Lillie was friendly towards everyone, didn't look at anyone as a stranger, and would do all she could for those in need. She always had a shoulder to lean on. Lillie would tell you the truth (even when you didn't want to hear it). All who loved and knew her will miss her dearly.
