Obituary for Linda Kaye Munoz
Linda Kaye Munoz, 71, of Springfield, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born on January 27, 1948, the daughter of Louis Wilson Flagg and Donna Marie (Basso) Deno.
Linda was a 1966 graduate of Lakeview High School, 1971 graduate of Kellogg Community College and 1981 graduate of Western Michigan University. She was employed with the Department of the Army civilian at Silic B Hayes Hospital in Ft. Ord, California, S.A.F.E Place in Battle Creek, Psychological Medical Center in Battle Creek and Marshall, and she was a Goodwill Industries Youth coordinator.
Linda is survived by her son, John Michael Munoz; numerous grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Wilson Flagg, mother, Donna Marie Deno and son, Joseph Antonio Munoz III.
Linda enjoyed colored pencil art work, reading, her dog "Nikki" - had for 16 years. Was a long time resident at Cherry Hill Manor 1998-2015. She formerly attended Birchwood United Methodist Church. Linda enjoyed collecting angels, elephants, oriental things and rabbits.
In accordance with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service , 375 W. Dickman Road, on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at 4:00 pm. Contributions in Linda's name may be made to: SAFE Place, PO Box 199, Battle Creek, MI 49016.
