Obituary for Lola Caldwell (Hardman)
Lola Caldwell, 97 of Battle Creek, MI passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 3, 2022. Lola was born on August 12, 1924 in Fonzo, West Virginia and moved to Battle Creek as a young girl. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School.
Lola married her lifelong love, Robert B. Caldwell in September of 1942. Lola retired from the Battle Creek Federal Center, where she worked in Food Service.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Caldwell; daughter, Marlette Rainer; parents, Fonzo and Nina Hardman; and four siblings.
Surviving are her daughters, Carlene Togal of Crete, IL and Cindy Adkins of Battle Creek, MI; eight grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
There will be a family celebration of life in the near future, date to be determine.
