Loreen Kay Deskins, 70, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 19, 1951, the daughter of William P. Blood Sr. and Audrey M. (Myers) Blood.

Loreen married Paul Deskins on December 15, 2001 in Battle Creek, MI.

Loreen is survived by her Husband and Best Friend of 20 years, Paul Deskins; Daughters, Shawn (Ryan) Miller, Shannon (James) Keegan; Bonus Children, Sherri (Duane) Vroman, Paula Roth, Jason (Stacey) Deskins, Jamie Deskins; 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Ella (Ben) Messenger, Laura Erskine; Brother, Robert (Sherrall) Blood and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Brother, William Perry Blood Jr.; Brother-In-Law, Larry Erskine; Two Nieces, Tina and Tammy; and Nephew, Matt.

Loreen enjoyed tending to her flower garden, watching The Food Network, making meals for her friends and family, shopping at thrift stores and going to yard sales. She loved decorating her home for Christmas and was always willing to help everyone. Loreen could always be found at car shows by her 1936 Ford Texaco Pickup truck.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Mindi from Kindred Hospice for always making Loreen comfortable and for taking such good care of her during her final days.

Visitation to celebrate the life of Loreen will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, and 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
