Louis Edward Dorsey Jr., 64, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. He was born on June 17, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Louis Edward Dorsey Sr. and Nira (Joynes) Spencer.

Louis originated from Norfolk, VA. He worked at the VA Medical Center in Battle Creek as a Kinesiotherapist, and recently retired in 2020.

Louis is survived by his Wife, Theresa (Templeton) Dorsey; Two Daughters, Caroline and Autumn Dorsey; Grandson, Amun Lee; Five Siblings, Matilda White, Arleen Jones, Sylvia (Maurice) Robinson, Nira (Derrick) Holton, David (Mary) Dorsey and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sisters, Lenora Parker and Aleta Dorsey.

Through the years, Louis enjoyed traveling and reading. His main passion in life however was being around his family and spending quality time with his wife, Theresa. He was very family oriented and always made sure they were well taken care of. He will dearly be missed by his family, friends and all those that knew and loved him.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Louis.
