Obituary for Louis Joseph Ughetti
Louis 'Big Lou' Joseph Ughetti, 84, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019. He was born on September 26, 1934, the son of the late Louis Anthony Ughetti and Josephine Mona (Postula) Ughetti. Louis married E. Sandra Jones on October 17, 1954. He was an independant contractor working as a tile setter for over 40 years.
He is survived by 3 sons, Louis R. Ughetti, Dino (Dana) Ughetti and Gregory Ughetti; 2 Daughters, Cyndy White-Burgett and Cathy (Jack) Winter; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren and a brother, Tony Ughetti. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 61 years, E. Sandra Ughetti; his parents; sister, Christine Ughetti and son-in-law Larry Burgett.
Louie also leaves behind his favorite companion, his dog, Doobie. He was an Antique car enthusiast and enjoyed going to auto swap meets. Louie and Sandra loved to travel and especially enjoyed their annual trips to Florida. He was an avid fan of: U of M, the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Pistons, especially during the 'Bad Boy' Era, with Bill Laimbeer as his favorite player.
